Southampton, UK: Trinity Rose Commercial, the Chandlers Ford-based commercial property specialist, and Symonds and Sampson, have secured a multi-million-pound sale on East Down Farm, a vast and superbly equipped site near Blandford Forum in North Dorset.

The 24-acre site, which includes 200,000 square feet of modern units, offices, workshops, storage, loading and digital weighbridge facilities, was listed with a guide price of £5 million. The agents secured the sale of the site to a private investor in one of the most significant transactions in recent months within just six weeks.

Trinity Rose Commercial acted jointly with trusted commercial property partner, Symonds and Sampson and, following a dynamic marketing campaign that attracted considerable interest from the off, the collaboration culminated in a speedy sale for the site’s owner.

‘We recognised that the East Down Farm site was a very attractive investment opportunity for a forward-thinking buyer,’ revealed Andy Gibbs, Trinity Rose Commercial Director. ‘Naturally we’re delighted to have completed this sale in what has been a great result for all the parties involved in this transaction in a very short space of time.’

East Down Farm was sold with planning consent for a storage and distribution facility and the newly named Dorset Business Park will now offer a range of high-bay warehouses and ancillary accommodation in one of Dorset’s most strategically located sites on the Blandford, Poole, Bournemouth and Dorchester road network. The site derives much of its electrical supply from solar energy and represents a welcome draw to organisations looking to relocate to more carbon-efficient operating facilities.
