LEVEL 1 SURVEYS
A basic survey (also known as Home Condition Report) that is aimed at conventional properties and newer homes.
LEVEL 2 SURVEYS
Level 2 RICS Homebuyer Report is suited to conventional properties, typically those less than 100 years old and those that have not been substantially altered. Optional valuation element.
LEVEL 3 SURVEYS
Level 3 Residential Building Survey is designed for properties which are larger than average, old, significantly altered or constructed from non-conventional materials or techniques. This survey should also be considered in situations where major works of alteration/extension are planned.
LIMITED DEFECT REPORTS
A full diagnostic survey and appraisal of a specific problem, resulting in a Limited Defect Report that clearly sets out the cause of the problem, and advises the most appropriate course of further action.
New Build Snagging Survey is a detailed assessment of new build property to check the quality of workmanship and finish against the appropriate building standards.
